We discussed existing dup detection tools at the last meeting.
Beyond diff -c and diff -u there is a tool for linux & windows at
http://www.anticutandpaste.com/
It only costs about $20, and has a 1 month trial
SCO used an unspecified tool of this type, unsuccessfully against IBM.
There was a talk at a security conference last year, about fuzzy matching.
OTOH, I have heard of someone who might still be interested, if you do
go forward with dup detector.
